To get married in Hong Kong, you will need to submit a Notice of Intended Marriage, valid passports or Hong Kong identity cards, and, if applicable, proof of divorce or death of a previous spouse.
5. How long does it take to process a marriage application in Hong Kong?
The Notice of Intended Marriage must be submitted at least 15 days before the wedding date. After this period, the marriage can take place. In case you instruct our civil celebrant to process the Notice for you, you have to do so 30 days before the wedding ceremony.
6. Can same-sex couples get married in Hong Kong?
As of now, same-sex marriage is not legally recognized in Hong Kong. Only heterosexual couples can legally marry.

We have over 20 civil celebrant of marriages who are licensed to issue valid marriage certificate/license. The Marriage Certificate or license is as good as that of issued by Government's Marriage Registry.
